What Kind of Writer are You?

When I hear anyone introduced as a “Writer,” I immediately think of a novelist like J.K. Rowling or Dan Brown. Now that I am one (a writer, not specifically a novelist), I know there are as many types of writers as there are people with fingers that type.

I didn’t realize until this year that I have been a writer for quite some time, actually.  Creating this website in 2003 qualified me as a “web writer,” and I have since written web copy for other sites.  It’s fun to try and engage a surfer such as yourself to stay and read a while, and hopefully find something interesting enough to cause you to subscribe to a blog or buy a product from a site I have helped design.

Most writers are freelance writers.  These people write articles, blogs, sales copy, grants, B2B copy and speeches for companies and websites, and are paid for each piece they write.  Companies like American Writers and Artists, Inc. have lots of courses and expertise in every type of freelance writing you could want.

If you are looking to make a more passive income by blogging about a subject in which you are experienced or knowledgeable, sites like Smart Passive Income are perfect to help you get started!

Whatever type of writer classification you use to identify yourself, just write, and keep writing, and write some more.  Then read, and write again.

It works, really.

Now, are you ready to answer the question?

What kind of writer are you?
