Hair One

MommyLoves Great Hair (Hair One)

Hello Mommies ~
I have naturally, curly hair that is also extremely thick. Years ago, after feeling my hair, a co-worker compared it to the sheep at the petting zoo. As bad as it sounded, I realized it was actually a compliment since my hair has never been as soft as wool. Now that I’m in my early 40’s, it’s gotten even drier and frizzier.

One night I caught an infomercial for Wen, a sulfate free, cleanser/conditioner for all hair types. After seeing the results of someone with hair similar to mine only being washed with Wen, diffused dry with no additional products added, I was interested enough to research it online. The majority of the reviews were favorable, but several of them mentioned that Hair One performed just as well as Wen, but without the high price ($29.95). Like Wen, Hair One is a sulfate free, 2-in-1 cleanser plus conditioner that I could buy without joining a club, as these products automatically enroll you in their monthly reship program. Hair One is conveniently available either online or at a local Sally Beauty Supplies.

REVIEW:

It’s well worth the $11.95, because it’s 2-in-1 and you need little to no styling products, which is a money saver. After the first use, my hair looked decades younger. It was softer (my husband could put his hand through it without losing his wedding band), it was virtually frizz free, and my curls were more like ringlets instead of fuzz balls. After trying everything from salon to organic shampoos, leave in conditioners, and deep treatments, I never found a hair product that worked this well. Ever.
